Solutions Oriented Counseling Ministry
Did you know there is a battle raging to wear you out, emotionally, physically and spiritually? God is very near and longing to reveal meet you in the midst of your battles.

In our sessions we use a solution-oriented tool, the Temperament Analysis, that gets results quickly, bringing clarity and teaching tools to navigate life and relational issues. Clarity brings understanding and freedom to live life in a much more focused way. We can thrive in the midst of turmoil if we’re willing to reach for Him and allow Him to reach us.

The Temperament Analysis, derived utilizing the APS Questionnaire, doesn’t assess a person’s behavior; rather, it reveals their inborn, God-given temperament. There’s often a significant difference between the person God created us to be—our true temperament—and the person we’ve become through learned behaviors. The results of the analysis can identify strengths and weaknesses within our temperament and how it shows up in both intra and interpersonal conflicts. This tool gets results quickly, bringing clarity and teaching tools to navigate life and relational issues.

The Problem: Too many individuals within the Christian community and the world at large struggle in interpersonal relationships because they do not understand just how unique God has created each one of us.

The Solution: By utilizing the Arno Profile System for Temperament Therapy, we can assess with great accuracy individuals’ strengths and weaknesses, share issues of conflict, teach you about yourself and your unique needs, insight regarding conflicts, work together in an attempt to examine and identify which needs are unmet, and discuss ways needs can be met in healthy ways.

How this Ministry Came to be ...
For many years I struggled through life trying to understand where I fit in the world and how to "show up". I have always had a passion to see people thrive: spirit, soul and body. Therefore I have been involved in some aspect of lay counseling for over 40 years. Recently I was led to this Temperament Model called the Arno Profile System created by Doctors Robert and Phyllis Arno and the National Christian Counselors Association that transformed the way I saw myself and others. Studying their model and becoming a Certified Pastoral Temperament Counselor has made all the difference.

but are looking to better understand yourself and how to respond to life around you, I would love the opportunity to facilitate your understanding of how God created you to navigate life.
